Rendering happens in your browser

Every template renders and exports locally on your device, using your browser's built-in encoders. The text you type, the settings you tweak and the MP4 or GIF files you export are not uploaded to our servers.

If you save a setup to your account, we store that template's settings (your text and chosen options) so you can reopen it later — that is the only creative data we keep, and only when you choose to save it.

Account data

You can use HeyAnim without an account. If you sign in, we store your email address, name and avatar (provided by Google if you use Google sign-in), plus the session data that keeps you signed in.

Sign-in codes sent by email expire after a few minutes and are used only to verify that it is you.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers — we store only your subscription status, plan and billing period, so the site knows what you have unlocked.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal on your account page.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages and templates people use. It does not see the text you type into templates.

Cookies

Signing in sets a session cookie; analytics may set its own measurement cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.

Where your data lives

The site runs on Cloudflare's global network, and account data is stored in Cloudflare's database infrastructure.

Deleting your data

Email us from your account address and we will delete your account, saved setups and sessions. Records tied to past invoices are kept for as long as accounting rules require.
